Once you have installed the CPU and motherboard, it’s a good idea to get your PSU installed, along with any aftermarket fans.
In most enthusiast PC cases the PSU will be installed on the bottom of the case, where it will be able to pull in cool air from under the case and exhaust it out of the rear. This means that the PSU is isolated from the rest of the system when it comes to cooling. You should not rely on your PSU to cool anything other than itself.
