Carbide Series 200R sub $1000 Gaming PC Build
By Jake Crimmins, on March 1st, 2013
Building a quality gaming rig doesn't take thousands of dollars if you choose your components carefully. With this in mind I set out to build a gaming rig that could handle any of today's games including Crysis 3 for under $1000. I priced the entire build out on Newegg and came in at $937.92 before tax and shipping. Let's start the build and take a look at the components I chose.
AMD Llano Build Log: An Intelligent Choice for Power on a Budget

As much as it pains me to admit it, not every person wants or needs a fire breathing dragon type PC. Quite a few people in the world will never use or want discrete PCI-e graphics processing, a personalized modded case with bells and whistles, multiple drives, and all of those other goodies that constitute a high end PC. A lot of people are going "green" with their PCs and making choices that consume less power.
Building a system in the Carbide Series 400R gaming PC Case
By Jeff Checchi, on September 22nd, 2011
In this video I demonstrate some of the features of our brand new Carbide Series™ 400R gaming PC case by setting it up with some high performance hardware. The Carbide 400R packs in a lot of features for a modest price, such as rubber cable routing grommets, tool-less drive installation, and even an on/off button for the LEDs on the two 120mm intake fans which come with the case. I also installed one of the longest graphics cards on the market, the ATI 5970, to show how much room is available inside, and in addition I point out where each of the 10 fan mounting locations are. Not only does the Carbide Series 400R look great, but it’s also incredibly builder friendly! Take a look at the video to see for yourself!
