Par. Mike Clements Posté Jan 10th 2012
The Accelerator Series solid-state cache drives are designed for desktop PC users who want to give their Microsoft® Windows® based PC a dramatic performance boost with minimal cost and hassle. Corsair's new line of SSD cache drives includes premium caching software from NVELO, for improved boot times and lightning-quick file access. The software quickly installs in 5 easy steps.
For those users still using HDDs for the primary or OS drive, there is a great new way to add an SSD to the mix to gain great performance while still using the full storage capability of their HDD. You will not need to reinstall the operating system and you'll be up and running in minutes. Add SSD caching software and an SSD to an average system and you can have your cake and eat it too!

The Accelerator Series is designed for desktop PC users who want to give their Microsoft® Windows® based PC a dramatic performance boost with minimal cost and hassle. Corsair's new line of solid-state cache drives includes premium caching software from NVELO, for improved boot times and lightning-quick file access. After connecting an Accelerator Series SSD cache drive to their computer's SATA port and installing the caching software provided with the drive, users will see an immediate speed boost. No drive mapping, no reinstallation of the operating system or applications, and no complex file management is needed — the Accelerator Series SSD cache drive works in tandem with the customer's existing hard drive to provide optimized performance. Customers may see an improvement in file read/write speeds of up to 5x their current hard drive performance after installing a Corsair Accelerator Series SSD cache drive.
The first step is to install the SSD to your system. Simply mount the drive in your case, connect the SSD to a SATA port, connect power to the disk, boot to your OS, and then you are ready to begin the software installation.
Run the installer and you will see the first screen. Select the NEXT button and move to the second step.

The second step is to accept the license agreement for the software. If you agree to accept, tick the box and select the NEXT button again.

The third step is to enter your product key. Type your key into the dialogue box exactly as it is shown in your documentation and select NEXT.

Next, you'll need to select your drives for the Target Drive and for the Cache Drive. Designate your drives and select NEXT.

You will be asked to verify that you have selected the correct drives. Be sure to select the proper cache drive as all data will be lost on the selected Cache Drive. Once you have made this verification, select NEXT.

Once you have verified your drive selection, the next step will begin the actual software installation. Select NEXT and you you can monitor the progress in the progress window.

Once the software installation is complete, you will be prompted to select the FINISH option. This will complete the software installation. At this point, you will be prompted to reboot your system to complete the process.

If you would like to verify the status of your Dataplex caching software, navigate to the Programs folder for the Dataplex software as seen below.

Double click the Dataplex Status icon and you will see the status window as shown below.

At this point, the best thing you can do is simply use your system. You should now be enjoying the benefits of having a blazingly fast SSD cache drive for your OS to use. Your old HDD is now Accelerated!

posted on Jan 10th 2012Not only do we have to wait for what seems like 100 years, we have to watch the price go higher over time. I hope another MFG comes up with the same thing and puts it on the market sooner than Corsair.

posted on Jan 10th 2012No problem with installing. Make sure you write the code down, or take a picture like I did with my I-Phone. That made it much easier. I did end up having to re-install the wireless netwrok card I was using. Maybe because the software needs to reside on the new drive? Also, when it asks for your code you must use a dash between the (4) digits. So far, so good.

posted on Jan 10th 2012I installed Dataplex 1.1.3.3 for my Accelerator 60GB 2 months ago. It worked great until yesterday when the cache became corrupted. I disabled and uninstalled Dataplex and tried to install version 1.1.3.7, but I get a "license in use" message. What do I do next?

1.1.3.7, y continuar a instalar la versión 1.3.0.0, todos los pasos se ejecutan normalmente y luego de llegar al último paso me aparece la siguiente ventana mostrándome el siguiente error que me dice lo siguiente: the system partition on disk #1 is used by multiple windows installations (C.E:). dataplex requieres that each windows inatallations has its own system partition.
