Corsair Link Video, White Paper and Build Log

Check out this video where George Makris, Product Marketing Manager and Aaron Neal, Engineer Program Manager walk you through the Corsair Link™ hardware and the Corsair Link Dashboard software.In the video they explain the differences between the cooling kit and the cooling and lighting kit. Aaron also gives a demonstration of the Corsair Dashboard software and shows you how to adjust the cooling fan profile based on the current CPU temperature as well as the LED profile based on the current GPU temperature.
John Beekley posted a white paper here that will answer some questions you may have about Corsair Link.The white paper goes gives an in-depth on the Corsair Link technology with a detailed explanation of the Corsair Link hardware and the Corsair Dashboard software. The white paper also mentions some of the great uses of Corsair Link, like the ability to set up a custom “Night” mode profile that turns off the lights and lowers the fan speed to reduce noise.
I posted a system build log here, where I integrated Corsair Link into a high end gaming machine build.Corsair Link is perfect for gamers and enthusiasts! You can set a custom “Gaming” profile to have the LED lights adjust to the temperature of the hardware as well as crank the fan speeds up during an intense gaming session. For after your gaming session you can set a custom “Quiet” profile to lower the fan speed to reduce system noise.
