Cherry MX Red mechanical key switches

Contoured, textured WASD and 1-6 Keycaps

The Vengeance K60 is designed to give you complete control even during the most intense action. The contoured, textured WASD and #1-6 keys are soft to the touch and without slip so you can focus on the game without needing to look down to find the right controls. An extra set of standard typing keycaps and a keycap replacement tool are provided for general typing.

Full key matrix anti-ghosting

Our expertly designed anti-ghosting technology provides flawless control even when you're pressing multiple keys at once.  The K60 has individual switches with dedicated diodes for each switch so every key press results in an input and is 100% ghost free without tradeoff or compromise.

20-key rollover (20KRO) on USB

Typical USB gaming keyboards are limited to the USB standard six-key rollover. The K60 features increased performance with a 20-key rollover implementation on USB at a blazing fast 1ms (1000 reports per second) reporting rate.

I was recently at QUAKECON 2012 in Dallas and while I was there I noticed a lot of people playing a new MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) called SMITE. So I decided to get my very own Beta Key and give it a try. Gameplay in SMITE is challenging, fast paced, and a lot of fun!  I also found that, while they’ve done a great job laying out the keyboard, your gameplay can be greatly enhanced with the creation of a few simple macros.  The perfect venue to show off some of the capabilities of the Vengeance M90 Laser Gaming Mouse!  ;-)

SWVA LAN April 2012: Well Played!

According to their Facebook page, "SWVA is A 100% non-profit organization, offering gaming events to local programmers, gamers, and all types of computer enthusiasts."     Yes, 100% ghost free.

  • Do Vengeance gaming keyboards support N-key rollover?

    Yes. In fact, the Vengeance Gaming keyboards support 20-key rollover, far greater than the industry-standard 6-key rollover supported by most USB keyboards.

  • Why doesn't the Corsair have a PS/2 port option?

    In modern multi-core systems optimized for multi-threading tasks, the PS/2 system carries a larger processing overhead compared to USB handing. In addition, Corsair gaming USB devices use Full Speed USB, which exceeds PS/2 in data transfer .

  • What are profiles? How many profiles can I save?

     A Profile is a set of data that stores your keyboard /mouse configuration and key/button assignments. A maximum of 50 profiles can be saved.

  • What can I use to clean keyboards and mice?

    Just use a soft clean cloth or tissue.

  • How are Cherry MX Red mechanical keys different than other mechanical keyboards?

    Cherry MX Red is the fastest action switch of the Cherry mechanical switch series. It has a non-tactile key feel while depressing, short 2mm makepoint travel distance, and does not have a loud “click” at the bottom. Cherry MX “red” keys are generally acknowledged to be among the best mechanical key switches for computer gaming.

  • WATCH: How do I change out the keycaps on my K60 keyboard?

    Use the key cap tool stored in K60 palmrest to pull off the key caps.

  • How do the aluminum bodies on the keyboards and mice help with durability?

     It provides a very rigid construction. Due the rigid construction the aluminum top plate provides, the keyboard can’t be warped or flexed. This prevents stresses on the electronics PCB and switch assembly.

  • How can I import/export a profile in the Vengeance Keyboard/Mouse SW?

    Use the software export/import function on the right-click popup menu for G-Keys, mouse buttons (from “Button Assign” or “Key Assign”tab) or configured keyboard or mouse profiles (under “Manage Profile” tab).

  • Are mechanical keyboards better than typical gaming keyboards?

    In our opinion, yes. The issue is mechanical switch vs rubber dome key technology. Both can have similar performance characteristics, even similar durability. But it is very difficult, but not impossible, to make a rubber dome key switch with the feel and actuation of a mechanical key switch.


  • Which keys on the K60 and K90 use Cherry Red mechanical switches?

    Below is a diagram with the Cherry Red mechanical switch locations outlined in red.  The picture shown is the K60, however the same locations hold true for the K90.  The K90 macro buttons do not use Cherry Red switches.
