CORSAIR DRAM Warranty Terms Updates for Europe

For years, CORSAIR DRAM has been backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, reflecting confidence in the reliability and durability of CORSAIR’s DRAM products.

However, for customers in the European Union, the way commercial durability guarantees are presented is changing.

Starting September 27, 2026, a new harmonized EU GARAN label will be used for qualifying commercial guarantees of durability. The label is designed to give consumers a clear and consistent way to understand the duration of a manufacturer's guarantee.

The EU GARAN label identifies products covered by a voluntary commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer.

One of the key changes is that the duration must be expressed as a specific number of years, rather than simply using terminology such as “Lifetime.”

As part of this change, CORSAIR DRAM products in the European Union will move from the traditional “Limited Lifetime Warranty” terminology to a defined 10-year commercial warranty.

In other words, customers will see a clear 10-year duration rather than “Lifetime” when viewing the applicable European warranty information.

This is primarily a change in how the commercial guarantee is communicated. It does not mean that CORSAIR's commitment to product quality has changed.

For CORSAIR customers, the important change is straightforward. European DRAM warranty information will now clearly state a 10-year commercial warranty.

Also, for previously purchased CORSAIR DRAM, the warranty will continue to be based on the warranty terms that are applied to the product at the time of purchase, as indicated by the product documentation and labeling.

The new system is ultimately intended to make warranty information easier to understand and compare across products throughout the European Union.
