AX760 ATX Power Supply — 760 Watt 80 PLUS® PLATINUM Certified Fully-Modular PSU (NA) (Refurbished)

AX Series™ PSUs offer world-class performance, with 80 PLUS PLATINUM-certified efficiency, low noise, fully modular cable sets, and high reliability for extreme performance systems.

Stable power delivery, silent operation, less energy consumption, and easier, better-looking builds

The AX760 offers ultra-clean power delivery for protecting your PC’s critical components. The efficient design uses less power and operates silently at low to medium loads, and the fully modular cable set helps make installation fast and easy, with better-looking results.

Less heat generation and lower operating costs

Excess heat means wasted energy. 80 PLUS Platinum certified efficiency means less waste.

Zero RPM mode for silent operation at low loads

The fan doesn’t even spin when your system is idle or doing basic work like surfing the web or running office applications.

Easy installation

The fully modular cable set lets you use only the cables you need. You can install the AX Series first and then add cables one-by-one without having to deal with the dreaded “cable octopus."

Stable, reliable power output

High-quality components and careful design help ensure maximum protection for your PC’s components.

Flexible and compatible

AX Series comes with long cables for large cases, and lots of connectors for just about any hardware configuration.

Fully modular connection system with low-profile cables

All of the power cables have connectors on both ends, with nothing hard-wired to the PSU. This makes for easier installs (you don’t need to deal with an octopus of cables while you’re putting in the power supply), and you can add cables one-by-one, using only the cables you need. The result is a cleaner-looking build, with better airflow.

Clean, stable power delivery

High-quality capacitors, a dedicated single +12V rail and a PF value of 0.99 give you reliable power output with extremely low ripple and noise. Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, and short circuit protection provide maximum safety for your critical system components. And, AX860 is engineered to meet maximum power output at a server-grade 50° C temperature rating.

Wide compatibility

The AX Series conforms to ATX12V v2.31 and EPS 2.92 standards, and is backward compatible with the ATX12V 2.2 and ATX12V 2.01 standards. It accepts universal AC input from 90V - 264V. Safety approvals include cTUVus, CE, CB, FCC Class B, TÜV, CCC, and C-tick

KitGuru gives non-digital AX760 and AX860 the Must Have award.

“There are certainly cheaper options on the market, but in this case you certainly get what you pay for.” “The pure modular design will prove popular with a wide audience of case modders who want to fine tune their cabling for ultimate appearance. The high grade 120mm Sanyo Denki fan is very quiet, even when dealing with a very high, active load.” “These are excellent power supplies, but to be perfectly honest we expect this now from Corsair, their overall standards in a wide cross section of sectors have been without reproach this year. Both AX760 and AX860 ship with a seven year warranty and they are clearly confident that these units are built to last.”

AX760 wins Editor's Choice at TechPowerUP!

“To sum up, the AX760 is a no brainer if you don't want many bells and whistles (aka digital control), but do want the best that money can buy in this category. You will invest a serious amount of money, that is for sure, but you will enjoy Corsair's support for seven years while your system is being fed by ultra-clean and stable DC outputs. As I stated many times in the past, the purchase of a PSU is an investment, so better take it very seriously. A good PSU will accompany you for many many years and will actually protect your system in case something goes horribly wrong.”

AX760 wins Golden Award from Hardware Secrets

"Although not the cheapest power supply around, its price is on par with what it has to offer. Its price is similar to competing 750 W power supplies with the 80 Plus Platinum certification, however competing products don’t have the same performance level, making the Corsair AX760 a good buy if you are looking for a flawless power supply."

AX760 wins Best Hardware Award from Guru3D

“The new AX series PSUs stand out from many competitors by a good margin. But sure, it's a crowded market with quality and efficiency levels being bumped up with each year that passes. But high quality, highly efficient, highly stable and inaudible are the keywords here. This AX760 PSU is impressive and Corsair definitely deserves our best hardware award, once again.”
