CORSAIR FRAME 4000D WOOD RS: Everything You Need to Know

In January of 2025, we released the CORSAIR FRAME 4000 Series of cases. The primary selling point of these cases is the modularity and now, alongside a broad range of other accessories, we’re releasing a couple of wood front panel upgrades. You can get these if you’re already a FRAME 4000 enjoyer or buy the case with the wood panel pre-installed.

Because there are a few available products for this release, we’re going to break it down into what you can buy. There are two cases, and four different front panel upgrades.

The ELITE wood panels are particularly interesting, with the wood slats shaped into concentric waves emanating from a central sails logo. the logo is silver for the Oak version and black for the Walnut variant.

Other than the stock front panel being swapped out for a wood version, the only differences are that these cases ship with a full coverage glass side panel and because this precludes the side vents, the PSU shroud is also shaped differently. When it comes to airflow, the wood front panel is a bit more restrictive than the usual front panel, however, it’s not nearly restrictive enough to cause any noticeable difference in the cooling. The FRAME 4000 cases don’t just breath direct through the front panel, there are sizeable gaps either side that provide supplementary airflow. Take a look at the specs below:
