CLEAN CABLING, EVERY TIME
FULLY MODULAR CONNECTORS
Connect only what you need using sleek embossed cables with low-profile combs to make installations a breeze.
Native 12V-2x6 GPU cable included for use with modern graphics cards such as the NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 40 Series.
THE STRONG, SILENT TYPE
140mm LOW-NOISE FAN
A fluid dynamic bearing fan with magnetic dome structure keeps noise to a minimum, with Zero RPM mode to eliminate fan noise completely at low to medium loads.
ENGAGE MANUAL CONTROLS
MANUAL FAN OVERRIDE KNOB
Want to get more air through the PSU or to exhaust some heat from your case? You can override the Zero RPM Mode and low-noise profile of the RMx Series with our manual fan override knob, increasing fan speed and airflow.

Yes. The RM1000x includes a native 12V-2x6 (12+4-pin) cable rated for 600W, designed for RTX 4090, RTX 5090, and other modern high-power GPUs. No adapters needed—just plug directly into your GPU's 12V-2x6 port.
Cybenetics Gold is roughly equivalent to 80 PLUS Gold (87-90% efficiency at typical loads) but uses more rigorous testing across a wider load range. Both certifications mean the RM1000x wastes less energy and heat, reducing electricity costs and keeping your system cooler and quieter.
Yes. The RM1000x delivers 1,000W of continuous power and is ATX 3.1-compliant, meeting NVIDIA’s requirements for RTX 4090 (450W) and RTX 5090 (575W) with headroom for the rest of your system. The included 12V-2x6 cable handles GPU power spikes up to 200% for milliseconds without tripping protections.
Cybenetics A-rated for noise, meaning under 30 dBA across typical gaming loads—quieter than a whisper. Zero RPM mode keeps the fan completely off during light use. Even at full load, the 140mm fan stays quieter than smaller 120mm fans found in competing PSUs.
Yes, if they're Type 4 cables. The RM1000x uses CORSAIR's Type 4 connector standard, so cables from other Type 4 PSUs (RMx, RMi, HXi, AXi series) are fully compatible. Never mix cables from different PSU brands or connector types—this can potentially damage components.
It overrides Zero RPM mode and the automatic fan curve, forcing the fan to spin at higher speeds. Use it when you want maximum airflow to exhaust heat from your case during extended gaming, stress testing, or in warm ambient conditions. Leave it off for normal quiet operation.
Yes, with headroom. An i9-14900K draws up to 253W, RTX 4090 up to 450W, plus 100-150W for the rest of the system components, totals around 800-850W peak. The RM1000x provides 150W+ of overhead for power spikes and future GPU upgrades.
Included: 1x 24-pin ATX (610mm), 2x EPS 8-pin (4+4) CPU (750mm), 1x 12V-2x6 PCIe (650mm), 4x PCIe 8-pin (6+2) (650mm), 3x SATA cables with 4 connectors each (850mm), 2x PATA cables with 3 connectors each (750mm). All cables are embossed Type 4 with low-profile combs.
Yes. The RM1000x includes two EPS 8-pin (4+4) CPU power cables, supporting dual-CPU workstation motherboards or high-power single-CPU boards that require two EPS connectors (like some X299 or TRX40 boards).
The RM1000x SHIFT relocates the cable connectors to the side of the PSU for cleaner cable routing in reverse-connector cases. Otherwise, specs are identical: same 1,000W output, Cybenetics Gold efficiency, ATX 3.1 compliance, and 10-year warranty. Choose SHIFT for reverse-connector builds, standard RM1000x for traditional cases.
Both orientations work. Fan-down (intake from bottom) is ideal if your case has a ventilated PSU compartment—cooler air and less dust. Fan-up (intake from inside case) works if the bottom vent is blocked, or you want to exhaust some case heat. Zero RPM mode works in either orientation.
Full suite: OVP (over-voltage), UVP (under-voltage), OCP (over-current), OPP (over-power), SCP (short-circuit), and OTP (over-temperature). These protections shut down the PSU before damage occurs to your components during power anomalies or faults.
The RM1000x measures 160mm (L) x 150mm (W) x 86mm (H)—standard ATX dimensions. It fits any case with an ATX PSU mount. Check your case specs to confirm clearance, especially in compact cases with drive cages near the PSU area.
Yes. ATX 3.1 compliance includes Modern Standby support, allowing your PC to wake from sleep states faster and maintain network connectivity in low-power modes—similar to how smartphones stay connected while sleeping.
10 years. CORSAIR backs the RM1000x with a decade-long warranty covering defects and failures. The 100,000-hour MTBF rating means it's built to last well beyond the warranty period, even with 24/7 operation.
