So, which is the best case? Well, that will depend on what you want.

Cooling

Cooling is the main factor that differentiates these cases. As they take fundamentally different approaches when it comes to thermals. The 6500D/X uses a traditional dual-chamber layout, which positions the PSU behind the motherboard tray.

AIR 5400 airflow

The AIR 5400 takes that up a notch with by providing an additional chamber just for the CPU's AIO. This separation leads to excellent thermal performance, with up to 5c lower CPU temperatures when compared to our FRAME 4000D.

6500 black and white

The 6500X has a glass front panel, and the 6500D has a mesh front panel.

The 6500D/X is visually impressive while being flexible. (It's available with a glass or mesh front panel) If you’re the kind of person who looks at a case and thinks “How many radiators can I get in there”, then this is a solid choice, with capacity for up to three 360mm radiators, you can create a very capable water cooled PC. It can also house the biggest air coolers with a massive 190mm of clearance.
