How to Install iCUE LINK 5" LCD Screen Module

If you have one of our iCUE LINK AIO CPU coolers, you'll be pleased to know that our latest iCUE LINK TITAN II coolers continue to support CapSwap. With CapSwap, your iCUE LINK cooler isn't limited to the pump cap it came with. Instead, you're able to easily swap it for another. You can see how easy it is to install our new 5" LCD Screen Module below.

Detaching Existing Pump Cap

First, detach your current pump cap. With your system powered off, firmly grasp the pump cap and pull it straight toward you. If you have a TITAN cooler, no need to disconnect the iCUE LINK or USB-C cable.

Orientation

Before mounting the LCD, choose whether you want to use it in portrait or landscape orientation. Depending on your build, portrait orientation may not be possible if there is insufficient clearance above the pump.

Landscape

Depending on your preferred screen orientation, you'll need to re-mount your pump onto the CPU. The mounting brackets will need to be detached and re-attached to mount the pump in your preferred orientation. With the Intel mounting bracket, you'll be able to orient the LCD in either portrait or landscape. For landscape orientation, the AIO inlet and outlet tubing need to be positioned at the top or bottom. For portrait orientation, the AIO inlet and outlet tubing need to be positioned at the left or right side.

However, if you are using the AMD mounting bracket from our original iCUE LINK TITAN coolers, your only option is for portrait orientation. The TITAN II includes an updated AMD mounting bracket that allows the LCD to also be oriented in landscape. If you do not have this mounting bracket, please contact CORSAIR support.

Attaching LCD Screen Module

Once you've determined your LCD orientation and mounted the pump accordingly, installing the LCD Screen Module is a breeze. Make sure the pogo pins on the LCD Screen Module align with the metal contacts on the pump.

Align the LCD Screen Module's pogo pins with their corresponding contacts on the pump, then firmly press the module onto the pump for installation. The LCD Screen Module should not have any sort of sag when properly installed.

Routing Cable

You can route the LCD's cable either via the included PCIe passthrough bracket, or through another channel of your case that leads outside to your GPU/motherboard ports. Our newer cases (FRAME 4000D, AIR 5400, etc.) have a rear slot that allows for cables within your case to route outside of it.

PCIe Passthrough Bracket

Remove a PCIe bracket from your case, then route the LCD's cable through.

Install the PCIe passthrough bracket with the cable routed through the bracket's opening, then connect the LCD's cable to a DisplayPort port on your GPU or motherboard (if you have integrated graphics).

External Route

For the cleanest appearance, route the cable through a hidden path whenever possible while ensuring the DisplayPort connector can still reach your GPU or motherboard video ports. In our newer cases such as the FRAME 4000D, FRAME 5000D, FRAME 4500X, AIR 5400, and more, we include an opening for internal cables to be routed externally for situations like this.

iCUE

Once you've installed the iCUE LINK 5" LCD Screen Module, make sure you're using the latest version of iCUE software so the required software components can be downloaded and installed. From our iCUE software, you'll then be able to personalize the LCD with the widgets and design you want.
