How to update CORSAIR headset firmware
One of the most reliable fixes to any issues with a gaming headset is to make sure the firmware is up to date. As such, it should be the first step you take. The process remains the same regardless of which of our gaming headsets you have. Here's how to do it.
How to update firmware on CORSAIR gaming headset
- Connect your headset to an available USB port on your computer.
- If you have a wireless headset, you will also need to connect your wireless dongle to an available USB port on your computer.
- Install and open iCUE. Click on the “Settings” gear icon, found in the menu bar at the top right of the window.
- Click on your headset and click "Check for Updates". iCUE will detect whether your headset is up-to-date and apply the firmware update as necessary.
Note: It can take a few minutes to complete the firmware update, please leave the headset connected.
If you have a wireless headset, you'll want to check for a firmware update for your wireless dongle, too. Click on the wireless dongle and click "Check for Updates". iCUE will detect whether your headset is up-to-date and apply the firmware update as necessary.
Once your firmware update is completed, your headset will reconnect, and you can then enjoy using your headset.
