RapidRoute 1.0 vs. RapidRoute 2.0: What's the Difference?

RapidRoute 1.0 and 2.0 are our cable management features built into some CORSAIR cases. Both provide easier and neater cable experiences, but there are some key differences. Let's take a look at them.

The first iteration of RapidRoute focuses on prebuilt channels through which you can route cables with a strap to keep them neat. This lets you keep your wires linear and clean for an ideal building and viewing experience

This is found in some of our more popular cases such as the iCUE LINK 5000T and is great for hiding your cables without triggering any OCD.

We figured out that while it made the cable management process easier, you were locked into only a few specific routing options, which mean there was going to be times where they were not ideal. That's where RapidRoute 2.0 comes in.

RapidRoute 2.0 is the direct upgrade to our previous design, with new features and even more customizability.

The most important new additions are the fact that the motherboard tray now functions as a pegboard with detachable and rotatable tie-down buckles and cable looms. This allows you to place your cables wherever you want them for maximum modularity.

These new features give a never-before-seen level of neatness that can make any PC build look even more amazing. Our new FRAME 5000D is a prime example of this, with our build showcase highlighting the levels of cable management that is now possible with our new RapidRoute technology.
