By HardOCP Posted on April 14, 2011 HardOCP gives Editor's Choice Gold award to the Corsair HS1A "The Corsair HS1A is the most comfortable and best performing stereo gaming headset we have ever used. We had a great sound stage in music, movies and games. The HS1A simply did a stellar job reproducing the sound signature of whichever sound card we used as well. " Full Review! By LanOC Posted on June 14, 2011 Corsair HS1A wins the "Recommended Award" at LanOC "After all of my complaining about the lack of bass in the HS1A’s all it took was a few rounds in an FPS to figure out their true purpose. If you are looking for a headset to blast your music and movies you are looking at the wrong headset. Even as a gaming headset you may be a little disappointed if you are looking to be sucked into the game to the point where you duck for cover at the first mortar shot. But if you are playing to win... This is the headset. The lack of bass is a downside in most situations, but as it turns out this does a great job of helping you hear footsteps and gunfire in the distance. For a causal gaming like myself this may not be it, but I don’t think any hardcore gamer should be without. Now all you have to do is figure out where you stand." Full Review! By Techgage Networks Inc. Posted on June 24, 2011 Corsair HS1A wins the "Editor's Choice" award at Techgage Networks "For comfort and balanced sound, the HS1A is a must-have headset. With a little EQ tuning to bring back the bass, these would be perfect for gaming and movies too. They can be worn for hours at a time with minimal discomfort. If you have a dedicated audio card, but don't want to bust the bank on premium headphones, these are an excellent choice. If you have an integrated audio card such as a Realtek HD solution, then go with the USB based HS1. In either case, Corsair's headsets are a fine choice and easily worth our Editor's Choice." By HWT.dk Posted on March 17, 2011 Corsair HS1A review at Legit Reviews "For $77.54 you definitely get your money's worth and more with the Corsair HS1A Gaming Headset (CA-HS1ANA). It is a great headset for movies and gaming. " Full Review! By Pocket-lint.com Posted on April 20, 2011 Bit-Tech approves the HS1A gaming headset "The HS1A is very comfortable, and has excellent sound clarity and detail. Unfortunately, it lacks the bass depth that provides the wow factor in games, music and movies. This can be dialled out with a bit of fiddling with EQ balances, though, making it a minor complaint for such a keenly priced and high-quality headset. The next step up the audio scale is the Razer Carcharias, which costs around 70, making the Corsair HS1A a bargain." Full Review! By Hardware Heaven Posted on June 12, 2010 HS1 gets the Silver award from HardwareSecrets Comfort level is high. The headband is one of the most comfortable we've ever tested and it really feels like a professional DJ headphone. Full Review! By Legit Reviews Posted on August 6, 2011 Corsair HS1A receives 5 stars at Techdad Review "The Corsair HS1 and HS1A gaming headsets are terrific buys. They have an incredible balance of comfort and sound quality. For everyday music listening, movie watching and gaming, I can’t imagine a better headset to own. Audio enthusiasts who invested in high-end sound cards will appreciate the analog HS1A. Everyone else will enjoy the versatility and consistent sound quality of the HS1." Full Review! By Tweak PC Posted on April 21, 2011 Corsair HS1A wins award at TechREACTION "The Corsair HS1A headset really proved its worth in the testing that we performed on it. The adjustable one-size-fits-all headband worked well to help us get the perfect fit to make extended use a pleasure. The padded synthetic leather headband was also part of making the experience pleasurable and comfortable for those longer listening sessions. Along with that, you will receive two sets of ear cups for your choosing. The synthetic leather and the microfiber ear cups are both easily interchangeable, depending on your personal preference. The sound tests were all great, with the crisp highs and mids and a nice deep bass. Quite possibly the best that we have reviewed up to this point. For the pure quality of this headset, we figured the price would be higher than it is (MSRP $79.99). The HS1A should make your list of headsets to check out in the sub $100 market for sure." By PC-eXPerience Posted on February 18, 2011 Hexus recommends Corsair HS1 Analog "Corsair's first attempt at creating a quality headset resulted in the digital HS1 cans that processed audio through nifty electronics and a USB conduit to the system. Now launched as an analogue version with 3.5mm jacks for headphone and microphone, much of the good has been carried over. We like the neutral sound and super-comfortable fit" Full Review!
