Last updated:

With our FRAME 4500X case, you may be wondering what the difference is between it and one of our similarly named cases, the 3500X. Needless to say, both are modern mid-tower cases that will suit just about any need. However, there are a few key differences despite some similarities.

Aesthetics

Aside from providing a slightly larger space to work with for your components, the FRAME 4500X's most notable characteristic is the single piece of curved glass - giving you an elegant, unobstructed view of your build within.

Of course, the 3500X also has an unobstructed view, but it's created with two pieces of flat glass, which means it doesn't look quite as fancy. That being said, some might prefer the more utilitarian vibe of the 3500X. It's doesn't make as much of a statement, and those who don't want their PC to be the main focal point. (It is also a bit easier to customize as it's entirely made from flat panels and straight edges, whereas the FRAME 4500X is all about tight radius curves.)

Cooling

These cases are very similar in this regard. the fan mounts and radiator capacities are almost identical. But there are some differences. They probably won't be dealbreakers, but they're worth being aware of.
