iCUE LINK XH505i RX 360 RGB Custom Cooling Kit: Everything you Need to Know
The CORSAIR iCUE LINK XH505i RX 360 RGB custom cooling kit is an updated and improved version of our Hydro X Series iCUE LINK XH405i, featuring an updated Pump/Reservoir and new fans. So lets go over the differences.
Overview
The XH505i features iCUE LINK RX120 RGB 120mm fans as opposed to iCUE LINK QX120 RGB 120mm. The reason for the change is simple: The RX120 fans offer a higher static pressure at the same RPM making them better for using with a custom cooling setup.
However, the star of the show is the new XD6 Pump/Reservoir with the Flow Drive Max pump at its core. While it looks the same as the previous generation, you can learn more about its stats in our dedicated article: XD6 vs XD5 RGB Elite: What's the Difference?.
The main benefit here is that it's a noticeable step up in performance from the previous generation allowing you to keep on top of the hotter GPUs which can draw up 600W with the RTX 5090.
iCUE LINK XH505i RX 360 RGB Custom Cooling Kit: What's Included
Lets go over what is included with the kit and how these are used within a custom cooling setup. It is worth mentioning that the XH505i custom cooling kit does not include a heat gun. You will need to procure one of these yourself in order to bend the hardline tubing.
