Where is the Steam Screenshots Folder?
Have you ever pressed F12 to capture a screenshot in a Steam game only to wonder: where the heck did that picture go?
Worry no more! Here’s how to find your screenshot save location:
- First, hover over the view menu in your Steam window, and click on Screenshots in the drop down.
- Then, click on the little folder icon in the bottom right of the window that shows up. A File Explorer window will open in the director with all of Steam’s screenshots.
And you’re done! These screenshots stay through Steam system updates, so you don’t need to worry about them getting wiped - however, it may be worthwhile to move them to a folder that’s more easily accessible, especially if you're in the habit of sharing them frequently.
