Introducing the CORSAIR FRAME Series Cold Air Intake Kit

Last updated:

The CORSAIR FRAME series of cases are built with modularity in mind, so, alongside a broad range of other accessories, we're releasing a Cold Air Intake Kit to buff the airflow of your case.

The FRAME 4000 and FRAME 5000 already feature considerable cooling performance with the ability to mount up to 14 fans. So why would we release a side panel that allows you to install yet more fans?

Well, it's all about performance, and those with a particularly powerful GPU might want an additional set of fans to help. The FRAME Series Cold Air Intake Kit provides this ability with a drop-in upgrade.

Build your own custom FRAME 4000 Case with the FRAME Configurator.

Bolt-on Performance

The cold air intake installs easily in the side of your current case. Simply remove the upper and lower side panels and the PSU shroud. Then attach your fans to the cold air intake and screw it in. Then install the new upper panel

The larger breathable mesh area alone helps with cooling performance, then adding three 120mm (for the FRAME 4000D) or three 120/140mm fan (for the FRAME 5000D) very close to your GPU will only amplify this by directing cool air right where it's needed.

Additionally, this upgrade changes the whole look of the case, trading a subtle grill for a utilitarian, performance-forward intake. Then your choice of RGB or non-RGB fans can make the case lean towards extravagant or stealthy respectively.
