Fancy a twist on the normal FPS or something different from Battle Royale or extraction shooters? Well, WARDOGS could be worth looking at. 100 players across three teams in a 2x2 km fully destructible sandbox map. Chaos is bound to occur. Being a fully destructible environment means everything is a target. No more unbreakable walls in certain buildings or seemingly invincible barrels. It seems, if it exists in game then you can destroy it.
Hopefully this will mean no more problems with people camping in buildings as, well you can remove said building. But it also opens a wide range of possibilities within the game. This coupled with the expansive map and constantly shifting hot zones will create a dynamic and engaging game which could lead to some memorable moments and intense games.
If you want to find out more about the game or to join up for the early access head over to the steam store page for WARDOGS for further details.
The minimum system requirements are relatively average, while making use of upscaling either using DLSS, FSR or XeSS depending on your GPU. This means that as long as you have an up to date set of drivers you should be able to play the game on most systems. However, a modern GPU like a 50 Series from Nvidia or a 90 Series from AMD that is able to drive a high resolution monitor will be handy, as you'll have an easier time seeing opponents way over in the distance.
WARDOGS is a tactical FPS where 100 plays across three teams fight it out in a fully destructible battlefield modelled on Eastern Europe. What makes this different to other games in the genre? Well, to start, everything you do to help your team will earn you cash, including downing enemies, reviving team mates, or even just playing taxi to move players around the battlefield. It all generates cash you can bank to use in the next game to spend on weapons and upgrades.
To get cash quick there are two types of control zone. The main control zone, where every 30 seconds, the team with the most players gets one point. The first to 100 points wins the match.
Within this, there is what they call the "hotzone". This pays double for all actions when in the zone. This point moves around within the larger control zone, so you will have a moving bubble of chaos where the more skilled or more risk driven players will thrive.
