NOVABLADE PRO Firmware Update Improves G-Key Remapping Behavior

CORSAIR has released a new firmware update for the NOVABLADE PRO that significantly improves how G-key remapping works, giving players more flexibility and preserving existing controls.

Previously, assigning a function to a G-key on the NOVABLADE PRO would remap and disable the original button, meaning the action could only exist in one place at a time. While functional, this behavior limited customization for users who wanted multiple inputs to trigger the same command.

With the latest firmware update, that behavior has changed. After updating the NOVABLADE PRO firmware, G-keys now duplicate button functions instead of replacing them. This update allows players to map critical actions to multiple locations to improve accessibility, ergonomics, and response time.

How to Update Your NOVABLADE PRO

To enable the new G-key remapping behavior, users must update to the latest firmware.

  1. Visit corsair.com/firmware-updater
  2. Connect your NOVABLADE PRO and RECEIVER
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the update

Once complete, the new G-key functionality is now available and you can remap the G-keys right from the NOVABLADE PRO. This firmware update reflects CORSAIR’s ongoing commitment to refining performance and usability based on player feedback and how players actually use their hardware.
