How to Remap Your Keyboard for MMO games

With CORSAIR iCUE, you can remap nearly any key on your CORSAIR keyboard to a wide variety of different remaps, complex macros, and other actions to serve your preferences in your favorite game.

Massively-multiplayer online (MMO) games often span across the entire keyboard to access abilities, so it makes these a great place to try out remapping.

To put some of these abilities within easier reach, open iCUE, and go to your keyboard Key Assignments. Create remap actions and assign remaps with a modifier key to change the behavior of the keys surrounding your movement (WASD) keys. For this example, we remapped them to keys '7' thru '=' on the number row. Now, when you hold 'SHIFT' and press 'Q', for example, you'll activate the ability that would normally be bound to the '7' key from your number row, while still preserving the original function of the 'Q' key when 'SHIFT' isn't held down.

Every MMO title will have small differences, so experiment with remaps and modifiers until you find what works for you.
