FAQ
Elgato Stream Deck software is compatible with Windows and Mac. GALLEON 100 SD is designed for use with Windows but will function on Mac as a standard keyboard. Some keyboard functions may not work properly or require additional settings, please refer to your operating system.
GALLEON 100 SD uses CORSAIR Web Hub to change and adjust your keyboard settings, storing its settings on to onboard memory. Elgato Stream Deck software is required to be able to control and run custom Stream Deck profiles, the GALLEON 100 SD will have a default onboard profile if Stream Deck software is not detected.
An Elgato Marketplace account is not needed to use the Stream Deck software and its built-in functionality. However, by creating a Marketplace account, you gain access to our large, curated collection of profiles, plugins, icons, and more!
The display is not touch-enabled. They can show up to 4 widgets and can be controlled via the dual rotary dials. Each dial can toggle between two widgets to allow for ease of control.
In the Stream Deck software, right-click on the screen portion. You will find options to change the background from a file, set the current background as a default background, and you can view a background library for selection.
You can create limitless actions! You have 12 physical buttons but are not limited to just 12 actions. You can create folders and pages to create layers upon layers of complexity and depth.
The two dials each control two widgets, top and bottom for the screen. To switch between the top and bottom, press and hold the dial for 3 seconds, and the dial will switch control. A white underline will show you which widget is currently being controlled.
Stream Deck software enhances the capabilities of the GALLEON 100 SD. The GALLEON 100 SD maintains a built-in profile with essential controls when Stream Deck software isn’t present.
Yes! You can use as many Stream Decks as you’d like, opening an unlimited number of possibilities for control!
The GALLEON 100 SD uses CORSAIR MLX Pulse switches for a smooth and satisfying typing response. The GALLEON 100 SD also comes with hot-swappable sockets, supporting any standard 3-pin and 5-pin switches.
The GALLEON 100 SD does not support adjustable actuation or Rapid Trigger. CORSAIR offers other keyboards with MGX Hyperdrive Magnetic switches which support adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger, such as the VANGUARD PRO 96.
Yes, the GALLEON 100 SD has a USB passthrough for your convenience. Please connect the provided USB-A to USB-C cable to the middle USB passthrough port. You can now connect a USB-C device to the top right port.
The GALLEON 100 SD supports Windows Dynamic Lighting. You can configure the lighting in the Settings app, then Personalization > Dynamic Lighting.
No, the dials are not interchangeable with Stream Deck dial sets.
