The CORSAIR VOID WIRELESS v2 has a pretty massive battery, clocking in at 70 hours while using 2.4GHz, almost 3 full days of gaming. If you’re listening to music or taking some online classes while in Bluetooth mode, that number jumps up to 130 hours! However, while that is a hefty chunk of battery life, it’s not infinite. Charging Your VOID WIRELESS v2

When it’s time to give your headset a recharge, simply connect the USB cable to your VOID WIRELESS v2 and an open USB slot on your PC. Your headset will report battery status via an indicator LED on the headset. When it’s at 0-30% of battery life, the indicator will be red, at 31-50%, it displays orange, and for 51-100%, it’ll be green.

Quick Charge Functionality

Even for those of us that try to be mindful of the charge level of our devices, sometimes we run all the way down to empty. Not to worry, the VOID WIRELESS v2 has got your back. If your battery’s running on fumes, just a quick 15 minutes of charge can get you 6 hours of gaming. That’s enough to get your gaming in for the night, and then you can charge through the night to get you back up to full charge.

Battery Best Practices

The battery on the VOID WIRELESS v2 needs to be fully charged before first use, so step 1 for ensuring that your headset has a long, full life is making sure that it’s fully charged before using it for the first time.

The second point to note is that rechargeable batteries degrade more quickly over time if they’re fully discharged for long periods of time. Try and make sure that you’ve got your VOID WIRELESS v2 at least partially charged at all times.
