XENEON EDGE: Can it Run Doom?

Tech enthusiasts love pushing hardware to its limits with one burning question: Can it run Doom? From smart fridges to TI-83 Calculators, this 1993 classic has found its way onto every conceivable screen. Naturally we couldn’t resist the urge to test this on our new 14.5 inch display the CORSAIR XENEON EDGE.

Setup

To put the XENEON EDGE to the test, we connected it to one of our VENGEANCE i7500 Gaming PCs. We ran GZDOOM, an open-source port that preserves the original game’s feel while optimizing for modern hardware.

Yeah it can.
