With the release of AMD's Threadripper 9000 Series, you'll want to make they're appropriately paired with a sufficient cooler for maximized performance. Without a proper cooler, you may encounter higher thermals, which will end up bottlenecking the CPU's performance - hindering your workflow.
Compatible Coolers
Thankfully, the Threadripper 9000 Series is retaining the same sTR5 socket as its predecessor and does not require any new mounting hardware. This simplifies the process for upgrades and compatibility amongst components, such as our coolers.

While the 240mm and 280mm sizes of the cooler lineups above also include the appropriate mounting hardware, we do not recommend anything below an AIO with a 360mm radiator as you may run into trouble with sufficiently cooling your Threadripper. These CPUs are spicier than normal, so they need more effective cooling than normal, too.
For the noise-sensitive users, our AIOs with a 420mm radiator would be recommended as it provides sufficient cooling at a lower noise level. Just make sure your case can accommodate such a radiator
