Wired Connection (USB)

A wired USB connection provides the most stable and lowest-latency option. It’s ideal for competitive play, tournaments, or when you want to ensure uninterrupted responsiveness.

  1. Lift the top plate. Start by carefully lifting the top plate of the NOVABLADE PRO to access the connection mode settings.
  2. Set the device mode to USB. Rotate or slide the device mode switch until it is set to USB.
  3. Open the USB cable latch. This will allow you to access the cable compartment.
  4. Connect the USB cable. Plug one end of the included USB cable into the NOVABLADE PRO and the other end into your system (PC or console).

Once connected, your fight stick should automatically be recognized by your device. This method ensures maximum precision with zero input delay.

Wireless 2.4GHz Connection

The wireless 2.4GHz mode provides a strong, low-latency wireless connection while giving you freedom of movement without the clutter of cables.

  1. Lift the top plate. Access the connection settings by lifting the plate.
  2. Set the device mode to Wireless. Switch the connection setting to Wireless.
  3. Insert the USB dongle. Plug the 2.4GHz USB dongle into your system’s USB port.
  4. Power on the leverless controller. Press and hold the PlayStation/Home button until the device powers on. The wireless 2.4GHz mode should automatically connect. If the connection is lost and re-pairing is requested, perform the steps for pairing below.
  5. Pairing your NOVABLADE PRO. Ensure the NOVABLADE PRO is powered off (not connected via USB). Hold down L3 + R3 simultaneously, then press and hold the PlayStation/Home button until the device powers on.

This setup gives you nearly the same performance as a wired connection but with the convenience of wireless play.

Note:

  1. This controller operates on the 2.4GHz radio-frequency band. If PlayStation®5 or other nearby devices are also using the 2.4GHz band, wireless interference may occur.
  2. Corsair has validated this controller with PlayStation®5 (CFI-1000 series, CFI-2000 series, and CFI-7000 series), including wireless performance testing. Corsair assumes full product liability for this controller.
  3. For PlayStation®5 CFI-1000 series consoles, it is recommended to connect the controller’s USB wireless dongle to the front USB port for optimal performance.

Bluetooth Connection

The Bluetooth connection is perfect for quick setups on devices such as laptops, tablets, or other Bluetooth-enabled systems (excluding PlayStation consoles). While Bluetooth introduces slightly higher latency than 2.4GHz or wired, it offers maximum portability and convenience.

  1. Lift the top plate. Open the top plate to access the device mode settings.
  2. Set the device mode to Bluetooth. Switch the connection option to Bluetooth mode.
  3. Power on the leverless controller. Press and hold the PlayStation/Home button until the device powers on. The first time Bluetooth mode is enabled; it will automatically enter pairing mode and pulse blue. After that, Bluetooth mode will automatically connect to the last paired device each time it’s powered on.

If the connection is lost and re-pairing is requested, perform the steps for pairing below.

  1. Pairing your NOVABLADE PRO. To enter pairing mode, first ensure the NOVABLADE PRO is powered off (not connected via USB). Hold down L3 + R3 simultaneously, then press and hold the PlayStation/Home button until the device powers on and the Light Edge bar pulses blue.

Once the fight stick enters pairing mode, locate it in your device’s Bluetooth settings and complete the connection.

How do I factory reset my device?

  1. To perform a factory reset, disconnect the NOVABLADE PRO and switch the device to USB mode.
  2. Press and hold L3 + R3 while the device is off.
  3. Connect the USB cable while continuing to hold L3 + R3 for two seconds.
  4. The reset is complete once the device shows solid white lighting.
This process restores all settings to factory defaults, erasing custom profiles, macros, and lighting adjustments.

Choosing the Right Connection

  • Use Wired USB for competitive play or when latency is critical.
  • Choose 2.4GHz Wireless for strong performance with the freedom of wireless movement.
  • Select Bluetooth for quick, portable connections on compatible devices.

With these three modes, the NOVABLADE PRO adapts to any setup, ensuring you’re always ready for action.
