QuakeCon 2025: CORSAIR Recap

Last updated:

QuakeCon is all about community, thousands of PCs, a sea of LED glow, and a BYOC that runs nearly around the clock. This year’s show ran August 7th–10th at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, TX, and it delivered the exact kind of LAN‑party energy we love.

Not everyone can make it out to Texas, so here’s a clean rundown of what we did, what you told us, and a few great moments you won’t want to miss.

A Booth Built for BYOC

Our booth was easy to find the lit CORSAIR logo cut through the dark convention hall like a beacon, and the space was purpose‑built for quick demos and real conversations which meant attendees could actually get hands‑on time and talk through builds and peripherals without queue fatigue. You could also pickup our famous BO55 Deodarant for free!

A Raffle PC with Dallas Pets Alive!

We teamed up with Dallas Pets Alive! at QuakeCon to support local animal rescue efforts. Our custom Starfield‑themed 5000T build (AMD‑powered) headlined the charity raffle, and the community showed up: over $7,600 raised for the grand raffle prize! Surpassing our 2019 mark (~$4,500). A local couple took the PC home, capping a feel‑good moment on the show floor.

If you missed the build details, you can get the quick spec overview on our Starfield 5000T @ QuakeCon ’25 build showcase! If you’re curious about Dallas Pets Alive!’s presence at the show, Bethesda and the ESO team highlighted the charity support leading into QuakeCon.

The Catsair Wall

One of the weekend’s biggest smiles: our Catsair sketch wall. Dozens of you left everything from quick doodles to frame‑worthy illustrations. It turned into a rotating gallery by Saturday evening, and we loved seeing it evolve in real time.

Fan Row, Done Right

We put a lot of thought into our Fan Row setup, and the feedback made it worth it. We heard from numerous attendees that our row set a high bar, as we created a space you wanted to hang out in, not just pass through. A few of you even said you’re planning to apply for our row next year. That’s exactly the spirit we aim for.

What We Saw (and Heard) on the Floor

Small-form-factor PCs were out in force this year, with ITX builds making a strong showing across the hall. We also heard plenty of requests for more compact case options...and yes, we’re taking note.

We saw an incredible variety of custom PC builds on the floor so many creative mods, each with its own unique flair, and we loved checking them out.

Lots of you asked if we had SCUF Controllers on site, and we heard strong interest in controller setups for PC play across the hall.

As for games, the LAN library stayed packed all weekend, featuring everything from Peak, R.E.P.O, and the Battlefield 6 beta.

See You Next Time!!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth, sketched on Catsair, hung out in Fan Row, or grabbed a last‑minute headset before the LAN kicked off. If you were there, you made QuakeCon what it is.
