After a hugely popular open beta, we’re happy to hear that Battlefield 6 release times have finally been confirmed. So, those suffering withdrawal symptoms since the beta ended can now jump back into the fight as soon as possible.
Hint: Book the day off work on October 10th now if you’re in the U.S, and if you’re in the U.K., just cut and run early on the Friday. Some of us certainly will.
OK, so Battlefield 6 launches at the exact same time worldwide, which makes things simpler and, frankly, proves the superiority of the British time zone. All of these times are for October 10, 2025.
We only have confirmed times for the regions above, however, because it’s a worldwide launch, chances are that you can simply convert any of the times above to your local time zone, and that’s when the game will be playable.
If you’re on PC. You must enable Secure Boot and TPM 2.0. The game won’t launch without these two things being active. Read our guide on Enabling Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 for Battlefield 6 to get it done. This process takes place in the BIOS, so you can do it ahead of time to minimize annoyance come launch day.
A user on Reddit posted an image of a PS5 pre-order confirmation from the UK. This showed that the “Expected auto-download date” would be 8th October at 4PM.
So, this would suggest that the Battlefield 6 pre-load time starts exactly 48 hours before the start time in your region. If that holds true, even the slowest internet connections should have plenty of time to get the game downloaded and ready to go.
Additionally, a 48-hour window will spread out the load on the servers for all the different platforms, which should make things smoother for everyone.
If you’re out of PTO, think about your “I’m sick, so I can’t come in today” message ahead of time.
Consider dropping hints that you’re feeling a little under the weather in the days leading up to the Battlefield 6 release. Just plant the seeds of an upcoming sickness here and there so when you do call in sick, it doesn’t appear to come out of nowhere. This is the most reliable way of getting the day off, without it seeming a little “too convenient”.
Maybe deploy a few coughs during meetings. Don’t overdo it, though. Managers are easily spooked, and if they smell a rat, the jig is up. You might also think about some props. Put a couple painkillers on your desk, maybe add a bottle of decongestant spray, too. Set decoration is important in crafting a compelling narrative.
Good luck out there, soldier.
