What does an XP Care protection plan cover?
An XP Care protection plan covers any electronic, mechanical, or software breakdowns that occurs through normal use. It doesn’t cover accidental or intentional damage, theft, loss, or bundled offers.
How are claims fulfilled?
Items that have broken down through normal use are replaced with brand-new (not refurbished) items, usually of the exact same make and model. In cases where your item is out of stock and/or no longer available, we’ll send you an item of equivalent or equal value.
How do I file a claim?
You will need to have a CORSAIR account in order to use your extended warranty. If you bought your gear while signed into your account, just go to the XP Care management page under My Account, find the item you need to file a claim on, and select Get Support.
If you bought your gear through our guest checkout, you should get an email prompting you to create an account in order to manage your warranty – it will be sent from webstore-om@corsair.com with the subject line Your New XP Care Protection Plan. Follow the directions in that email to get set up, then file a claim from your XP Care management page.
What happens after I file a claim?
We will email you a pre-paid mailing label so you can send your item to us. Once we receive it, the typical turnaround time is 2-3 business days to get your replacement item to you.
Is there live support for XP Care?
There is. XP Care gives you priority access to our XP Care Support line at 1-844-426-7724. Have your Warranty ID ready so we can provide quick service.
How often can I file a claim?
XP Care allows two successful replacement claims per plan. Once your item has been replaced by a brand-new item of equivalent or equal value for the second time, the XP Care warranty is essentially fulfilled. But you can call for non-claim support as often as you need to.
Is XP Care available on all CORSAIR products?
At the moment, XP Care is only offered on gear bought through our website, www.corsair.com. But otherwise, you can purchase an extended warranty for most PCs and gaming peripherals that come with a standard warranty. Individual PC components and bundled items are not eligible.
Is an XP Care warranty transferable?
Yes, but the protection plan is tied to your CORSAIR account (or, if you used Guest Checkout, to the email address you used). You will need to call into our XP Care Support line at 1-844-426-7724 in order to transfer it to someone else, and please have your Warranty ID number ready when you do.
