How to Switch Between Widgets and Monitor on XENEON EDGE

The CORSAIR XENEON EDGE is a game-changer accessory that not only enhances the aesthetic of your PC setup but also provides a range of practical functions. This 14.5-inch touchscreen secondary display can serve as a compact monitor, but when paired with iCUE software, it becomes a powerful tool for streamlining your day-to-day PC computing.

The XENEON EDGE stands out for its versatility, serving as both an extension of your Windows monitor and a dedicated display for your widgets. Switching between widget mode and monitor mode on the XENEON EDGE is simple. Just follow the steps outlined below.

• Open CORSAIR iCUE.
• Select XENEON EDGE from the navigation bar.

• Click on “Screen Setup” button on the left side panel.

• Toggle “iCUE Widgets” to “Desktop”. The XENEON EDGE is now functioning as a regular monitor.

However, opening iCUE and clicking into the XENEON EDGE settings every time is cumbersome. Instead, why not set up a keyboard shortcut. Here's how:

• Open iCUE, hover over the XENEON EDGE and click "Screen Setup"
• In here, you'll find a "Switch Display Mode" setting with a text field next to it. Enter whatever keystroke or combination of keystrokes you want.

Now, whenever you hit those keystrokes, the XENEON EDGE will instantly toggle between monitor mode and widget mode. This is the case even if iCUE is closed, though it must be running in the background.
