Since the CORSAIR 3200D can be thought of as a follow-up to the CORSAIR 3000D, let’s quickly compare the two to highlight the new and updated features in the latest iteration.

The 3200D is available in three colors: Black, White, and Smoke. Each color has two variants: RS and RS ARGB, making a total of six options. The RS versions come with 3x RS120 PWM fans, and the ARGB versions also include 3x RS120 PWM fans, all pre-installed at the front.

The 3000D comes in two color options: Black and White. Each color has two versions: AIRFLOW and RGB AIRFLOW, making a total of four variants. The AIRFLOW versions, which are non-RGB, include 2x AR120 fans, while the RGB AIRFLOW versions include 3x AR120 RGB fans.
As shown in the image below, the 3200D measurements are slightly smaller than the 3000D, which makes perfect sense because the 3200D is aimed at users who want a very compact PC build with modern case features like those found in the FRAME 4000D.
As for fan support, the 3200D can hold up to 9x 120mm fans, while the 3000D supports up to 8x 120 mm fans. For 140mm fans, both cases can fit up to 4x 140mm fans. Although both cases support 360mm and 280mm radiators at the front, the 3200D has an edge because it also supports 280mm and 360mm radiators on the top, whereas the 3000D only supports 240mm and 280mm.
This is one of the aspects where there's a very clear difference. The CORSAIE 3000D is not compatible with reverse connector motherboards, but, the CORSAIR 3200D is.

3000D
As mentioned earlier, 3200D is designed for those seeking a compact chassis that can support even the heaviest and largest GPUs, thanks to its adjustable anti-sag stabilization arm. Once again, this is a feature present on the 3200D and absent on the 3000D.

As you can see in the photo below, the top of the PSU shroud in the 3000D is flat, while the 3200D is slanted. This is the first time in a CORSAIR case that a fan mount on top of the PSU shroud is angled directly toward the GPU to help push more air to the GPU and surrounding areas, making the airflow inside the case even more streamlined.

The 3200D also gets an upgrade to the front I/O interface compared to the 3000D’s front I/O.
