The CORSAIR RMx SHIFT PSUs are modular power supplies (PSUs) that “shift” the cable connections to the side of the PSU. Moving the cables to the longer side of the PSU positions the cable connections along the case side panel where cable routing occurs, allowing for simpler cable management and easier access.
The RMx SHIFT comes in black or white and in the following wattage outputs: 750W, 850W, 1000W, and 1200W.
RMx SHIFT 2025 Compatibility
Update: We have now launched the RMx SHIFT 2025. This version features a fan control knob, recessed power switch, a new visual design, and many other updates to bring it in line with the latest PSU standards.
Most importantly, though, the compatibility is unchanged. If the case in question is compatible with the previous versions of RMx SHIFT power supplies, it will fit the 2025 version too.
CORSAIR RMx SHIFT PSU dimensions
Since the RMx SHIFT power supplies are ATX PSUs, the width and height are identical to any other ATX power supply. However, the ATX standard does not regulate the length of a PSU, so the length can change depending on the wattage.

What about non-CORSAIR cases?
