Fans can do more for your build than just cooling. RGB fans powered by CORSAIR iCUE software are a feast for the eyes, with individually addressable RGB LEDs creating intricate, synchronized lighting effects.
With a lighting-forward fan, there are some key features to consider beyond a standard case fan.
RGB lighting is a mainstay for a PC, and one of the most popular places to add those brilliant accents is on the case fan. To be clear, RGB lighting doesn’t do anything, really, to improve the performance of the fan as it is just an aesthetic thing. But because the fans often sit right on the edge of your case, many PC builders opt to use RGB fans because they’re quite visible. It’s important to think about how your PC will control that RGB, though. CORSAIR’s RGB components come with software customizability courtesy of our iCUE control protocol.
